If I had any criticism whatsoever, I’d say the same restaurants with the same food every year could use some updating, but for a first or second timer- the foods wonderful and variety is enough you could have a club sandwich with jacket potatoes for lunch, a nice relaxing Italian dinner than ice cream for dessert in all separate places. Beach service is good albeit you may get the random guy (not affiliated with the hotel) selling coconuts (which are still good). They have activations (same place you get your welcome drink) every week and the team has drivers practically standing by to take you around the island -whether site-seeing or in need of a flying fish sandwich. Bugs are reasonable and you can fall asleep on the balcony or leave the doors open for the cool night air. Bed is a little firm (for me) but wife loves it. Rooms are huge, and most come with a soaking jacuzzi in the room (separate bathrooms).
We started coming back in 2010, and have been frequents since then. A little lul during the pandemic, but back and experience in full force.
What can I say about the Crane, but I love this place, Last year we had our 7th trip to the Crane (probably should have just bought one of the time shares).
